The computer department of the School has organised the workshop for teachers where creating and storing of files on cloud was discussed.so that teachers should be aware of that how to save the files on onedrive.
In
order to empower the teachers with knowledge,skills and positive attitude so
that they start using these methods,tools and technologies in their routine
classrooms, CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME was organised.It pepped up everyone for the session which emphasized on the importance of Theater In Education.The mentors emphasized that Theatre plays a
vital role in children?s life andit
gives long lasting impact on child?s memory.Theater is basically performing
arts.Children learn by doing.It helps them growing mentally and
physically,removes stage fear and grows their personality.
The workshop was organised on 1 Dec 2015 in school premises for Pre-Primary teachers.Teaching Aids were shown to them to make their teaching effective and long lasting through various aids.

A creative
craft workshop was organised by AGDAV on 15th September 2014.The
workshop ICE BERG BREAKER was conducted by the teachers. It aimed at giving
various tips to the mothers on ways to guide their children to utilize the
available resources in the best possible manner and create beautiful and
effective craft with just anything. The program started with lamp lighting
ceremony.It was an enriching workshop where the mothers were able to learn a
variety of tricks and techniques that would help them in guiding their kids .From
using paper plates for animal masks, to using paper plates for animal masks, to
glasses for bells , to using spoons for puppets ? various simple techniques
were taught and demonstrated .It was amazing to see how something as simple and
plain as newspaper could be used to make puppets. The workshop ended with the
speech by the Supervisory Head , Mrs Sonu Sahni where she addressed the mothers
and shared her experiences .The event was educative and successful as mothers
participated enthusiastically.

serve as a catalyst for student's growth and development as we believes that
children learn best when they are actively involved with learning aids and with their peer group .
To enhance the creativity
,interactive skills of our teachers, AGDAV organized a workshop on DAV
Curriculum Guidelines on 19.7.2014 in school premises.All the teachers participated enthusiastically and the
event was a great success.

Good Touch and Bad Touch
Workshop was organized on 11.7.2014 for Pre-Primary students
on Friday to spreads awareness regarding "Good Touch and Bad Touch". Parents
were also a part of this event. The motto was to guide the parents as well as
children about the same in a positive manner and make them socially aware.
Movies related to these sensitive issues were also shown for the better
understanding .The event was successful one as it helped in spreading the
necessary awareness and keeping their children safe.
